Support for Future Veterinarians
Veterinary medicine is a constantly evolving field, and it’s certainly not easy. It’s important for students to experience life in a veterinary hospital before making the commitment to pursue a career in this field. Students are the future of veterinary medicine, and we love to mentor and guide them in their journey to a wonderful and rewarding career. Please read below to learn more about the opportunities we offer.
Job Shadowing
Students 12 years of age or older can spend part of the day with us, shadowing a veterinarian or technician. This is not a hands-on experience, but students are invited to be immersed in all areas of our hospital, including exams and surgery. If you or a student you know may be interested in learning more about the exciting careers in veterinary medicine, please contact us for more information.
Veterinary Technician Students
This opportunity is designed for students enrolled in a licensed veterinary technician program who are required to fulfill a certain number of hours in a veterinary hospital setting before graduation. Students will have hands-on experience in every department of the hospital and will be mentored by one of our own licensed veterinary technicians.

Pre-Vet and Veterinary Students
We provide opportunities for both students who are in pre-veterinary programs (undergraduate) and students enrolled in their final year (post-graduate) of veterinary school.
